# Onboarding Request
This request ensures the right people become aware of the project requirements for onboarding Business Lines to the ABB Ability™ Platform.
The Onboarding Request function allows to process the request for resources:
- ABB Ability™ Platform
- Azure Subscription
During the request process, a user needs to provide information which is necessary to start the instance.
# Onboarding Request in Service Now
To request the onboarding:
Go to ABB MyServices.
Select ABB Ability™ Platform.
Select Ability™ Request Fulfillment.
Select Onboarding Request to proceed to the form.
# Request Form
The information to be provided is divided into the following sections:
- Business Information,
- General Information,
- Invoicing data
All the fields mandatory to fill in are marked with an asterisk.
# Business Information
In this section, a user needs to provide:
- Applicable to - the platform the request is applicable to: MS Azure or Huawei
- Project name - Name for the project, which will be used for all Operations activities
- Business Area - EL, PA, MO, RA, or Internal
- Division
- Project Description
# General Information
In this section, a user needs to provide:
- Resource type - ABB Ability™ Platform or Azure Subscription
- Project Owner - Please provide here a name of the person responsible for contact
- Location/Region - Options: CN/EU-NA
- Project start date - Select the date from the calendar
- Multi-tenant - Select YES. The Multi-Tenant option is available temporarily to support 19.03 Secure and will be removed soon.
- Additional explanation - Please provide any information which can be helpful in the requesting process
In this section, a user also need to provide names of people responsible for the approval process:
Important note
The names provided in these fields cannot repeat.
- Division Financial - Person responsible for cost approvals / division budget
- Division Digital Lead
- Division Architect/ Technical Manager
In the last three rows, please assign the following names:
- ABB Ability Platform Product Manager - Viswanathan Ramakrishnan
- ABB Ability Platform CST Manager - Marc Leroux
- ABB Ability Platform Ops Manager - Prakash Tiwari
# Invoicing Data
Invoicing data is required. In case of doubts, please contact the person responsible for cost approvals. Please provide an email which will be relevant to send an electronic invoice to in the field Accounts Payable E-mail Address.
